The Dead Weather Shows off More Than Your Average Garage Rock with "Horehound"

Once again Jack White and his minions perfect garage rock; this time White's mostly on the drums and the music has a darker, doomier overtone with Alison Mosshart (vocalist, The Kills), Jack Lawrence (bassist, Raconteurs) and Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age, guitarist) in the mix.

The new Aborted effective but uninspired

Black Sun Aeon and the soundtrack to despair
